Unveiling Kalibo's Hidden Treasures: JRP Farm Emerges as Potential Tourism Gem

KALIBO, Aklan-  As the sun rose on the 15th of February 2024, a dedicated group from the Technical Working Group assembled once again, determined to unearth the hidden treasures nestled within the heart of Kalibo. 

Meeting for the third time this month, their mission to evaluate and reveal Kalibo's attractions was underway. Departing from the LGU of Kalibo at 8:45 am, the team embarked on their journey, eager to explore their first target of the day: JRP Farm in Barangay Bakhaw Norte, Kalibo, Aklan. 

This sprawling farm, stretching over twenty-three (23) hectares, holds immense potential to not only enrich the lives of the local villagers but also captivate visitors from neighboring towns and villages. Situated amidst the natural beauty of rivers and sea, JRP Farm stands as a beacon of opportunity. 

Its accreditation as a learning site by the Aklan Training Institute in Banga, Aklan is just the beginning, with countless possibilities awaiting discovery. 

With planned improvements underway, this farm has the makings of a brilliant tourism site, promising unique experiences for all who visit.As the Technical Working Group delves deeper into Kalibo's hidden treasures, each revelation reinforces the town's status as a destination worth exploring. 

With JRP Farm emerging as a potential gem, the future of Kalibo's tourism industry shines brighter than ever before.
